About the role

As a Senior Staff Security Engineer, you will report directly to the CISO and play a critical role in defining and implementing our security strategy. You will be a technical leader, working closely with engineering teams to ensure that security is built into every aspect of our products and infrastructure. This is ahands-on, individual contributor role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the security of our company.

As

a Senior Staff Security Engineer in Info Sec, you’re expected to:

Security Architecture:Collaborate with the CISO to refine and document our overall security architecture, ensuring a clear and cohesive technical vision.

TechnicalLeadership:Elevate the technical expertise within the security team, serving as a go-to resource for teams facing security challenges.

Collaboration & Alignment:Foster strong partnerships between security and engineering, facilitatingcommunicationand knowledge-sharing. Help teams understand and implement security best practices, enablingautonomywhile ensuring consistency across our tech stack.

Security Reviews:Conduct comprehensive security reviews of new and existing systems, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigations.

Incident Response:Participate in incident response activities, helping to identify, contain, and remediate security incidents.

Threat Modeling:Perform threat modeling exercises to identify and prioritize potential security risks.

Stay Current:Stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.

What you’ll need:

Deep Technical Expertise:5+ years of experience in security engineering or a related field, with a strong understanding of security principles, best practices, and technologies.

Hands-On Experience:Proven track recordof designing, implementing, and maintaining secure systems in afast-paced environment.

StrongCommunication Skills:Ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Problem-Solving Skills:Excellentproblem-solvingandanalytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and identifyinnovative solutions.

Collaborative Mindset:A team player who thrives in acollaborative environmentand enjoys working with others to achieve common goals.
