Role Overview:

Responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to security projects, including definition, design and development, in collaboration with the Head of Security.
Handle Business-As-Usual (BAU) security tasks, ensuring the ongoing protection of our network and systems.
Actively participate in vulnerability management, ensuring timely identification and mitigation of security risks.
Explore and implement automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
SOAR experience – can be any of Palo Alto XSOAR/Cortex, FortiSOAR, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk SOAR, IBM QRadar, Google chronicle
EDR Tool – Can be any of Microsoft Defender, Proofpoint, CrowdStrike, Trend Micro, Cortex XDR, Carbon Black
Experience with Vulnerability Scanning tools – Qualys, Nessus, Tennable
SIEM Tools experience is desirable however not essential e.g Splunk
Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to security challenges.
Demonstrated experience leading security projects and providing mentorship is preferred.
Salary:
£70,000 – £90,000 Basic Per Annum
