Roles and Responsibilities

The primary

purpose

is to manage and exercise oversight of the development and implementation of an effective security strategy and solution for existing and new Data Centers in Bangkok. This includes the

prevention

and mitigation of security risks, securing of company and customer assets, information and data, safeguarding of personnel, customers and visitors.

This role is currently planned to have responsibility for our up and coming Data Centers in Bangkok; however, the intention is for this role to develop as the business expands across the country and region. The successful candidate is required to have the experience in dealing with multiple sites.

1.

Leadership

and Team Management Strong supervisory skills to manage and motivate security staff. Ability to lead teams in high-pressure situations and during emergencies.

Conflict resolution

skills to handle disputes or issues among security personnel or with the general public.

2. Knowledge of Security Procedures and Protocols In-depth understanding of security systems, protocols, and best practices. Familiarity with monitoring systems, CCTV, alarm systems, and access control technologies.

Experience with

physical security measures (e.g., locks, barriers) and emergency response plans.

Risk Assessment

and Management Ability to assess security risks, identify vulnerabilities, and implement solutions to prevent threats. Skilled in evaluating potential risks and devising strategies to address and mitigate those risks. Regularly conducting security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards.

4. Emergency Response and Crisis Management Expertise in responding to various emergency situations such as fires, break-ins, medical emergencies, or natural disasters. Ability to train security staff and others in emergency response and evacuation procedures. Quick decision-making in high-stress environments to ensure the safety of people and assets.

Communication Skills

Clear and

effective communication

with security teams,

senior management

, employees, and law enforcement. Writing and maintaining reports related to incidents, security breaches, or accidents. Strong verbal

communication

to relay security concerns or update stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

6.

Attention to Detail

Ability to monitor and detect potential security threats or breaches. Strong observation skills to spot suspicious activities and prevent incidents before they escalate. Ensuring that security logs, reports, and surveillance footage are meticulously documented.

7. Knowledge of Legal and Regulatory Requirements Understanding of legal aspects of security management, including privacy laws, labor laws, and liability issues. Keeping up to date with any changes in security regulations and ensuring compliance within the organization. Familiarity with workplace

health and safety standards

and regulatory requirements for security operations.
