Where you’ll be working

Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What You’ll Be Doing

As the Team Leader you will:

Perform the role of the security officer and in addition lead a team of security officers to deliver the function of the Security Services.

Be responsible for the supervision and training of the security officers.

Essential Criteria

Qualification: Certificate II in Security Guarding and Current Senior First Aid Certificate.

Licence: Class 1A Licence as issued under the Security Industry Act 1997.

Selection Criteria

NSW Driver Licence with excellent driving record (full or provisional class C)

Excellent communication (verbal and written) including reporting and analytical capabilities

Experience in working in customer service role particularly dealing with traffic monitoring

Demonstrated ability to undertake customer service/ public relations role and managing difficult situations

Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn current and emerging security and IT systems

Demonstrated ability or significant experience in managing a team to meet the organisational deliverables

Excellent interpersonal skills
