About the Role:
This role is for a seasoned Senior Security Technician who is confident in their skills and ready to take ownership of their work. You’ll be responsible for:
Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, intercoms, and fog cannons
Running cable, conduit, and commissioning systems to meet client needs
Programming, configuring, and testing electronic security equipment
Performing regular check-ups and repairs to ensure equipment runs smoothly
Keeping track of installations, service calls, and maintenance via our work app
Identifying and managing materials needed for projects
Maintaining inventory and logging new assets
Being available for after-hours work if necessary (and compensated accordingly)
Handling high-profile commercial projects
Most work is within the CBD area
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of hands-on experience as a Security Technician (not NBN)
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Proficiency in security system programming, configuration, and commissioning
Excellent understanding of security system components, wiring, and installation
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Proven Tecom and Integriti experience is a must
Requirements:
Current Private Security License
ACMA Cabling License
White Card
Valid Driver’s License
