This position is under the Director of Information Security on the Data Encryption team. This role will oversee the development and rollout of data protection solutions for use across the enterprise. This is a people leader role and the successful candidate will manage a small team of engineers. This role will also collaborate with the Director and other team members to provide written and verbal updates to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
Manage a team of engineers responsible for delivering Data Protection solutions.
Collaborate with team members across Technology to drive on-time program delivery while establishing interdependencies, identifying risks, managing resource constraints, and eliminating roadblocks.
Drive the team’s product improvements and roadmap.
Drive the team’s planning activities, ensuring dependencies are identified, and risks are mitigated.
Track progress, contribute to design discussions, issue resolution and remove obstacles to ensure milestone commitments are met.
Act as a first point of escalation, providing assistance and guidance throughout the program delivery.
Find opportunities for organizational improvement and lead key activities to support the team to ensure the desired outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent work experience.
6+ years of experience in technical project management.
Strong knowledge of software and security principles.
Proven leadership and management skills in working with cross-functional, geographically distributed teams on complex projects.
