Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing assistance as necessary.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent loss or damage.
Collaborate with law enforcement when required, ensuring proper communication during incidents.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergencies as needed.
Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken in a clear and concise manner.
Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
Participate in ongoing training sessions related to techniques and security protocols.
Qualifications
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is a plus.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems including CCTV is an advantage.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must pass background checks as required by company policy.
A valid driver’s license may be required depending on the location of duties.
