We are looking for an experienced, service oriented security professional to fill the role of Security Shift Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the day to day activities of security operations on a shift basis, while establishing and contributing to a safe

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providing
leadership
, direction and mentoring to the security operation on a shift basis Responding to, resolving and escalating security issues as required Assisting in the implementation of security strategic plans as directed Monitoring, documenting and preparing statements/reports on violations, unsafe conditions, potential hazards, suspicious persons and activities Reviewing reports on violations, unsafe conditions, potential hazards, suspicious persons and activities and other reports as requested Reviewing inspection reports and taking appropriate action;
escalating as required Conducting training for security operations; recommending training opportunities and efficiencies Providing input for team member performance objectives and evaluations Providing outstanding customer service satisfactions to all guests Preparing and submitting monthly Staff Resource Planning Proposals for special events and implementing them as directed Developing and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations Performing other duties as assigned or directed Cross-departmental training and operational support as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Security Officer experience required Previous security management or supervisory experience an asset but not required Must be willing to recertify for Use of Force every 3 years Occupational First Aid Level 2 an asset A willingness to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and graveyards. Computer literacy in MS Office A passion for providing outstanding service to our internal and external guests Understanding of yourself as well as others when communicating with team members and guests Excellent

capabilities A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for
personal and professional development
Can understand, speak and write English;
fluency in other languages an asset Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills Serving It Right, or the ability to obtain a Serving it Right Certification The ability to successfully obtain a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
