Position Summary And ObjectiveTheSite Security Managerwill provide a client with security and management for two sites. The position will be based in Agua Prieta, MX and Douglas, AZ. This Site Security Manager will perform protection activities and all supervisory duties needed at these sites.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Risk Management
Identify and assess security risks: Recognize potential threats to the organization’s assets (physical, information, personnel)
Develop risk mitigation strategies: Implement plans to reduce or eliminate risks, including prevention, detection, and response mechanisms
Perform regular security audits: Evaluate current security measures and update them as necessary
Policy Development
Create and enforce security policies and procedures: Develop policies for access control, incident response, data protection, and more
Ensure regulatory compliance: Ensure that security policies align with industry standards and legal requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc
Training and awareness: Educate employees on security best practices and the importance of adherence to security policies
Physical Security Management
Oversee physical security measures: Ensure the organization’s facilities are protected from unauthorized access or threats (e.g., locks, surveillance systems, guards)
Access control management: Implement systems for managing employee and visitor access to sensitive areas of the organization
Incident response: Respond to breaches of physical security and oversee investigations
Incident Management and Response
Develop and implement an incident response plan: Ensure a structured approach is in place for responding to security incidents (physical or cyber)
Investigate incidents: Lead investigations into security breaches or violations, document findings, and take corrective actions
Report incidents: Ensure that any incidents are properly documented and reported to the appropriate authorities, stakeholders, or regulatory bodies
Team Leadership and Collaboration
Lead and manage security teams: Oversee a team of security personnel, including guards, analysts
Coordinate with other departments: Collaborate with IT, legal, HR, and other departments to ensure the alignment of security strategies with overall business goals
Vendor and contractor management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors who provide security services, systems, or software
