Site Security Supervisor – Los Angeles Jobs in Los Angeles, CA at Defense International Inc.
Defense International Inc. the largest concierge and security firm in the region, is currently seeking a highly capable and experienced Site Security Supervisor to oversee our security operations at various locations throughout Los Angeles. As a Site Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of security officers and ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ premises, assets, and personnel. This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to security management.
Position: Site Security Supervisor
Shifts: Variable shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Type: Full-time
Locations: Multiple sites throughout Los Angeles
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of security officers at assigned sites
Provide guidance, training, and support to security staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to protocols
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with security procedures and regulations
Monitor security operations, including patrols, access control, and alarm systems
Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and client inquiries, ensuring appropriate actions are taken
Maintain accurate records, including incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift reports
Collaborate with clients, management, and law enforcement agencies to address security concerns and implement effective solutions
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to security officers
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new security technologies
Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and training programs
Foster a positive and professional work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence
Requirements:
Proven experience in security or law enforcement, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Possess a valid Guard Card and have completed required training
Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sound knowledge of security practices, protocols, and emergency response procedures
Proficient in using security technology and computer applications
Ability to make quick decisions and handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
