Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and conflict management, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed diligently. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and emergency response, contributing to the overall security strategy of the organization.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to observe and report suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent loss or damage.
Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify potential security risks.
Collaborate with law enforcement when required for incidents or investigations.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management techniques to resolve disputes.
Experience
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse groups of people.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
