Job Overview:
Saber Security Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Security Officer. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is a critical role that requires excellent observation skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism. Responsibilities:
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals
– Monitor CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect any suspicious activity
– Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, including emergencies, and take appropriate action
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
– Enforce access control procedures to prevent unauthorized entry
– Perform regular inspections of equipment, doors, windows, and other areas to identify potential security risks
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
– Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities
Skills/Requirements:
– Valid security certificate or license is required. Training to get these will be provided.
– Military or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
– Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is beneficial
– Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment is a plus
– Strong observation skills to identify potential threats or suspicious behavior
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations calmly and professionally
– Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures
– Must be able to consistently be on your feet for long periods of time and remain active during your shift to include walking, climbing stairs, and lifting moderately heavy objects occasionally.
– Experience in defensive tactics and/or subject control techniques is preferred but not required
– The ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times and provide outstanding customer service
– The ability to pass a background check
