Position Summary:
Responsibilities include conducting physical security reviews of executive residences, supervising installation, troubleshooting and assisting of repair for Security systems and technical evaluation support regarding related security products & applications, access control, CCTV, alarm systems etc.
Principal Accountabilities:
Performing physical security reviews on selected executive residences, including evaluation of existing equipment, evaluating risk points (windows, doors, climb points), reviewing environmental security and looking at risks and mitigation, reporting findings and making recommendations. May be called upon 24/7 as required.
Evaluating technical security equipment, providing support including roadmaps and lifecycle of related equipment under the control and management of the Director-Technical Services.
Ensuring timely repair of system malfunctions by conducting equipment tests and evaluating results to determine cause of hardware/software failure and appropriate corrective action.
Ensuring efficient operation of equipment, parts and accessories by managing periodic maintenance and repair in accordance with pre-established schedules.
Assisting with planning, scheduling, and reviewing of routine moves, changes, additions and preventive maintenance. Integration of major hardware and software additions and upgrades.
Responsible for record keeping regarding spare parts inventory, routine maintenance logs, equipment performance logs, system components diagrams and documentation.
Breadth of Responsibility:
This position is responsible for carrying out physical security review on executive residences, including conducting risk assessments, reporting findings and assisting/planning in upgrades, repairs and installation.
Autonomy/Problem Solving& Decision Making:
This person must be able to work without supervision along with working in a small team and must be able to analyze hardware (alarms, locks, cameras etc) and understand defense in depth and can perform risk assessments.
Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of physical and environmental security, understanding defense in depth, and understanding risk management.
Certification in Security / Risk Management or ASIS PSP or ASIS CPP certification.
Extensive hardware/software installation and configuration experience, troubleshooting and repair experience.
