Supervisor Electronic Security Administration Jobs in Dallas, TX at UT Southwestern

Responsibilities:
– Provide armed/unarmed security services to ensure the safety and security of personnel, visitors, and property
– Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activity
– Monitor CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to maintain a secure environment
– Respond promptly to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fires, and alarms
– Enforce access control procedures to prevent unauthorized entry or exit
– Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and prepare detailed reports
– Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed
– Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times

Skills:
– Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and practices
– Familiarity with militarized security protocols and procedures
– Strong understanding of law enforcement principles and practices
– Excellent conflict management and de-escalation skills
– Ability to maintain a high level of situational awareness and attention to detail
– Effective surveillance techniques to identify potential threats or risks

Requirements:
– Must possess a valid security officer license/certificate
– High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in security or law enforcement preferred
– Minimum of 1 year of experience in armed security or related field preferred
– Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 – $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 55 per week

Schedule:

10 hour shift
12 hour shift
Day shift
Night shift
Weekends as needed
