Basic Job Function

Protect guests, members, team members, and Sea Island Acquisitions LLC property against fire, theft, vandalism, illegal entry, and other circumstances that would disturb the peace and good order on the property. Promote the Sea Island legacy of warm, genuine hospitality while upholding and ensuring compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures. Prevent unauthorized persons from entering Sea Island property.

Assist the Assistant Director and Director of Security in managing the Security Department.

Familiarity with all Security Team Members

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Ability to multi-task

Valid GA driver’s license

Flexibility to work days, nights, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Positive attitude and ability to work with a variety of people and in cooperation with coworkers efficiently and effectively

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification

Proficiency in Windows XP and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Ability to adapt easily to organizational and environmental changes

Understanding and demonstration of Sea Island Acquisitions LLC Rules for Coaching, Counseling, and Discipline

Minimum Requirements

Familiarity with all Security Team Members

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Computer skills, good judgment, initiative, cooperation, discretion

Ability to multi-task

Valid GA driver’s license

Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Positive attitude and effective teamwork skills

Attention to detail and ability to handle fast-paced priorities

Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification

Proficiency in Windows XP and Microsoft Office applications

Adaptability to organizational and environmental changes

Understanding of Sea Island Acquisitions LLC Rules for Coaching, Counseling, and Discipline

Tasks/Responsibilities

Maintain coaching and counseling documentation on security team members

Assist in daily Security Department operations

Oversee security personnel performance

Assist in training security staff

Update training records in Ulti Pro

Maintain training materials and supplies

Review and approve daily reports

Follow up on incident reports, employee injury/illness, and liability claims

Patrol, investigate thefts, and guest/member complaints

Fill vacancies on the schedule as needed

Report to work on time, groomed, in uniform, following dress code

Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas

Uphold department standards of quality and timing

Report equipment issues

Assist guests and members with inquiries

Operate radio and dispatch staff as needed

Send alerts to management

Monitor security cameras

Attend team meetings and suggest improvements
