Responsibilities:
– Ensure the safety and protection of employees, visitors, and property
– Patrol premises, monitor surveillance systems, and inspect buildings, equipment, and access points
– Authorize entry and respond to alarms
– Report irregularities, enforce policies, and address trespassing incidents
– Direct traffic when necessary
– Complete detailed reports by recording observations, incidents, and interviews
– Manage building and equipment systems
– Ensure compliance with legal and safety standards to maintain the company’s stability and reputation
– Conduct preventive maintenance on security equipment and coordinate repairs
Qualifications:
– Valid Security Officer Class D License (State of Florida)
– Valid FL Driver’s License
– Reliable personal transportation
– Availability to work shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings
– Professional appearance and demeanor
– Strong computer skills
– Excellent customer service abilities
– Bilingual (English/Spanish) REQUIRED
– Own a smartphone
– Able to pass a background check (no felony convictions)
– Willing to work overtime
