This is an office-centered position*–you must physically report to one of the duty stations stated in this announcement on a regular basis (location TBD after candidate selected).

NOTE:You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for the GS-14 level, you must have 1 year of full-time
* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level defined as providing review, evaluation, and adjudication of personnel security actions, and providing services necessary to protect and safeguard agency personnel.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of the principles and methods of administering security programs.
Knowledge of guidance related to the implementation of the rules and regulations under OPM, DCSA, and ODNI requirements;
Executive Orders;
Code of Federal Regulations;
Homeland Security Presidential Directives; or other guidelines to support the suitability, security and credentialing programs.
Ability to lead staff by evaluating work performance and giving advice, counsel, and instruction.
Ability to direct the work of subordinate staff, develop long-range goals and objectives, apprise work, and provide advice to staff.
Skill in oralcommunication.
Skill in writtencommunication.
