POSITION SUMMARY:

As Treasury Management Officer (TMO), you will be responsible for building strong partnerships across all business lines and provide treasury management support to convert business prospects into customers and expand and retain existing customers. The TMO directly contributes to the Banks deposit growth goal by ensuring customers needs are fully met while providing the best possible customer experience. The ideal candidate must have a solid banking background with expertise in Treasury Management products and excellent service. A strong focus on wowing internal and external customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Adhere to 1st Security Bank core values, policies, and procedures.

Be able to work closely, successfully, and collaboratively with other departments in the bank treating all employees with respect.

Engage in business development activities across all business lines providing consultative working cash flow assessments and recommendations to prospects and existing customers.

Responsible for preparing account analysis pro-formas and proposals and driving collaboration between business lines to provide the best possible new customer experience.

Lead and effectively work with the support team on all new customer and new service on-boarding including opening accounts and implementing treasury management services.

Manage and provide direct assistance to Commercial Banking and Commercial Real Estate customers on all deposit and treasury management needs with support from the Treasury Management Analysts.

Monitor customer relationships and perform relationship reviews on the banks complex business customers and present findings and recommendations to customers thus enhancing relationships and retention.

Manage the risk exposure relative to treasury management services.

Ability to multitask and prioritize job responsibilities; provide timely and responsive customer service in meeting agreed-upon deadlines and commitments.

Proactively participate in partners team and sales meetings providing input, training and assistance in developing business.

Assume responsibility for special projects as assigned.

Attend all required meetings and contribute.

Follow all bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and timely completes all required job-specific training.

Maintain knowledge of and follow treasury management policies and procedures.

Support management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner and represents the Bank with a high level of integrity.

Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Degree in business, marketing or finance preferred or equivalent work experience of at least ten years of banking experience in a sales or management position.

Proven success in establishing new business relationships and consistently achieving production goals.

Demonstrably very well-organized as to time management, contact management, records management.

Ability to demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that pertain to this position; must be able to keep up to date on regulation changes.

Knowledge of key bank regulations, including, but not limited to, Know Your Customer, the Bank Secrecy Act, and Anti-Money Laundering policies, procedures and related programs.

Must be bondable.

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software.

The employee will be required to use transportation to visit client and potential client businesses in a variety of industries and work environments.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate as compared to a private office with light foot traffic and office equipment. The employee must be able and willing and able to interact frequently with the general public.

Position is to support the Portland, Oregon Market and office location to be determined.
