Surveillance Officer Jobs in Kansas City, KS at 7th Street Casino
Surveillance Officers protect the assets of the casino and its employees by observing, monitoring, and recording all activity occurring in the casino area.
Successful Officers will be able to:
Use all Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for spreadsheet, reporting, and presentation development
Prepare reports as directed by the surveillance manager
Manipulate manual camera control devices
Be flexible in scheduling and availability on short notice to meet gaming policy requirements
Perform duties in compliance with company standards
Ensure adherence to all gaming regulations and report any violations of procedure
Report any malfunctions of surveillance equipment and make recommendations and justifications for repairs or replacements
Maintain accurate records as required
Have regular and punctual attendance.
Maintain a professional demeanor in a high stress/profile environment
Sit for the entirety of the shift, taking breaks only as business allows

Lift, push, pull, or carry 35# (thirty-five pounds) in emergency situations
Function in a smoking environment, if needed.
Specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Work in a low lit area
Ability to focus on monitors for an entire shift.
No previous experience is required. Will train the right candidate.
