Nestled in San Francisco’s Excelsior neighborhood on a nine-acre campus, the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (SFCJL) is a center of excellence in providing a continuum of care. This includes the Frank Residences, offering luxurious assisted living and memory care services; the Jewish Home and Rehabilitation Center, featuring long-term skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and an acute psychiatric unit specialized in mental healthcare for older adults over age 55; and the Jewish Home and Senior Living Foundation.

What you’ll do as a Security Guard:
Monitor and authorize entering employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain the security of the premises
Control and monitor access from vehicle and pedestrian traffic on the SFCJL grounds at all times
Operate the Security Operation Center and respond/dispatch response to all system alarms, alerts, and suspicious activity seen on cameras
Respond and assist in emergency situations – call police or fire as necessary
Complete daily activity reports, incident reports for your daily activities, and irregularities

A current and valid California Guard Card required
Ability to focus and perform at a high level of attentiveness on multiple tasks at one time and maintain control of your assigned post, required
Physical ability to continually patrol the campus grounds, required
Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions, required
