Surveillance Security Officer – Experienced Site Supervisor! Jobs in Sparks, NV at GardaWorld Security Services U.S.
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of residents, guests, and property. This mid-shift role involves monitoring the premises, responding to incidents, enforcing building policies, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and patrol the property to deter unauthorized activity.
Greet and assist residents, guests, and delivery personnel.
Enforce building policies, rules, and regulations.
Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and resident concerns.
Monitor surveillance cameras and access control systems.
Document incidents, write reports, and maintain security logs.
Collaborate with building management and emergency services as needed.
Conduct periodic inspections of doors, stairwells, and restricted areas.
Assist with access control, including checking IDs and managing visitor logs.
Report maintenance or safety hazards to property management.
Qualifications:
Prior security, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred.
Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical security duties for extended periods.
Familiarity with security technology (CCTV, access control, etc.) is a plus.
Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time: 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday, weekends as needed).
Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
Potential for overtime or holiday shifts.
