As a Security Operator – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

Full-time, Tuesday through Saturday, 1st shift 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Competitive hourly wage of $21.65 / hour (Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees!)

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Operator
Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard
Be authorized to work in the U.S.
Be able to provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED – pursuing a bachelor’s degree or certificate preferred (Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Cyber Security, Criminal Justice, or another related field).
Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process.
Strong report writing skills.
Good eyesight and excellent abilities to maintain focus.
Strong proficiency with technology.
Be able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Be able to detect urgency levels and make effective decisions under pressure.
Be able to multi-task under pressure.
Experience in critically evaluating situations, applying strong problem-solving techniques, and making sound decisions.
You can utilize procedural documents and provided tools to work independently with little direct supervision.
You have strong attention to detail, good written and oral communication skills – able to collaborate with peers and management, as well as interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
You’re proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
You have a state license if required.
Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is preferred.
