THE JOB:
The Surveillance Shift Supervisor in a gaming environment is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the surveillance operations within a casino or gaming establishment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of gaming regulations and security protocols.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Supervise and Coordinate: Activities of the surveillance team to ensure efficient and effective surveillance coverage throughout the gaming facility. Supervise Operators and Lead Operators to ensure video documentation is thorough and that the infractions observed are correctly interpreted.
Monitor Surveillance: Including cameras, recording devices, and software systems, like CCTV to maintain optimal functionality and reliability. Maintain video file evidence by saving video files to an alternative media; monitor Table Games, Casino Cage, Soft Count, Hard Count, Poker, and all employees adjunct to the Casino floor.
Audit and Inspect: Surveillance operations to ensure compliance with gaming regulations, internal policies, and security procedures.
Review and Analyze: Surveillance footage to identify potential security threats, suspicious activities, or violations of gaming regulations.
Accurate Records and Documentation: Of surveillance activities, incidents, and investigations and maintain strict confidentiality of all property-related issues.
Respond Promptly: To emergencies, security breaches, or incidents requiring surveillance intervention and remain alert to any suspicious activity.
WHAT YOU NEED:
High School Diploma, or equivalent.
2 years of prior relevant experience in surveillance or table games position in a casino/hotel environment.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:
Proficiency in operating CCTV systems (Closed-CaptionTelevision).
Strong aptitude for technology with the ability to navigate and troubleshoot various technical systems.
Knowledge of table games within a gaming environment.

Pay: $58,000.00 – $62,000.00 per year
