Job purpose
Enhancing and developing systems Infrastructure capabilities and offerings through Planning, implementation, design, configuration, and administration of systems infrastructure in addition to related core infrastructure services in the Bank on a 24/7 basis.

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline
Microsoft Certified.
Citrix Certified.
ITIL / ISO 20K Certified
Project Management
Knowledge
Wide experience in management of Systems Infrastructure
Working knowledge and experience of banking operations and related problems.
Experience
6-8 years IT Experience.
Systems infrastructure Implementations.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Analysis and tracking:
Analyzes systems infrastructure performance and recommends adjustments to a wide variety of complex systems management functions with responsibility for overall performance, capacity, and availability of networks
Provision of technology-based information, such as systems infrastructure performance dashboards, service levels and issue resolution to the business
Run regular health checks of the systems infrastructure to ensure optimum operation
Evaluate, recommend, and introduce systems solutions as required
Financial and Budgetary control
Assist on the budgetary responsibility for the planning, budgeting, and delivery of systems infrastructure projects
Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of solutions including sourcing, purchasing or in-house implementation.
Negotiate service level agreements with service providers and monitor service delivery to ensure the agreed targets and standards are met
Technical Operations:
Manages the systems infrastructure functions of The Bank including servers OS, server’s hardware, blade servers, backup systems, virtualization, storage systems, etc…
Directs the planning, administration, and problem resolution of the systems infrastructure administration.
Manage the planning, development and implementation of best-in-class solutions that enable efficient operations
Manages the systems infrastructure functions in support of IT services related to the operations, performance, and availability across the Bank.
Ensures that all processes and documentation are adequate and effective to meet specifications and audBackupit requirements.
Ensure the availability, integrity and fit for purpose systems infrastructure, aligned with changing business priorities.
Designs and implements systems infrastructure architectures.
Key responsibility for the identification and resolution of technical problems and malfunctions related to systems infrastructure.
Ensure that systems infrastructure adhered with security standards and polices.
Manage the preparation and implementation of Policies, procedures and standards relating to systems infrastructure administration.
Manage escalated issues to third level of support.
Provide guidance and support to senior & systems administrators
