Job Overview
We are seeking Temporary Armed Security Officers for the Charlotte, NC area for IMMEDIATE HIRE. Our clients can request coverage at a moments notice. We need Officers when they are available to work these temporary assignments. Work when you are available! This gives you the flexibility to pick and choose what days and hours you would like to work.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Operate and maintain surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential security risks or vulnerabilities.
Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the safety of individuals in distress.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing information and support during investigations.
Document all incidents accurately in reports, maintaining clear communication with management.
Requirements
Valid armed security officer license or certification is required.
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technology.
Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
