Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure safety and security.
Enforce rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service to all individuals on the premises.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism risks.
Document daily activities, incidents, and any relevant information in reports.
Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies.
Qualifications
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment including CCTV systems.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.

Primary Purpose and Function:
Provide uniformed security services at our retail facility, while providing exceptional customer service.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Remain alert and vigilant at all times

Respond quickly and correctly to security incidents
Observe and report
Calling for assistance
Checking and monitoring client’s facilities
Maintain electronic logs per company policy
Enforce parking control procedures
Knowledge and skills:

Proven oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail is a must
Reliable transportation
High School Diploma of GED
California Guard Card issued by BSIS
Capacity to learn and retain multiple evolving forms of advanced technology-based applications.
