Join VMD Corp, part of Xcelerate Solutions, a leader in providing passenger and checked baggage screening services at airports across the United States. We are seeking a Full Time Airport Traffic Control and Perimeter Security Guard.
What you will do:
We are looking for a reliable and vigilant individual to manage vehicular and pedestrian traffic at the airport. You should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to enforce security protocols without carrying weapons.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Direct and control traffic to ensure smooth flow.
Provide instructions to drivers, passengers, and pedestrians.
Enforce parking regulations and collaborate with airport staff and law enforcement.
Conduct patrols and report suspicious activities.
Assist in resolving minor disputes.
Operate traffic control equipment.
Respond to emergencies following protocols.
Implement security measures, including badge inspections and perimeter checks.
Conduct airport perimeter inspections.
Provide excellent customer service.
What you will need:
U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
NYS Security Guard License
NYS Driver’s License
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in security or traffic control (preferred)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a team and in flexible hours
What we offer:
