The Armed Security Officer duties and responsibilities include a variety of security related duties to include, but not limited to Access Control;
Roving Patrols;
Traffic Control;
Control Issuance and Storage of keys;
Security and Fire Systems;
Building Rules and Regulations;
Response to Incident, Injury, Illness; and other security related duties as required. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
Responds to a variety of calls/incidents, secures/safeguards crime scenes, performs crowd control as required, performs personnel, vehicular and building facility checks, First Aid and CPR as required, and completes all required reports, forms, and other documentation IAW established procedures.
Staffs post continuously and provides access control; deters/reports unauthorized personnel or vehicular entry, directs traffic and provides information to visitors, and screens packages.
Safely maintains and qualifies with assigned weapon, maintains uniform and grooming standards IAW company policies, and operates patrol vehicle in a safe manner.
Safeguards all assets, provides motorist assistance, and escorts persons and equipment.
Conducts any other assignments in accordance with established SOPs.
Familiar with security systems including CCTV and mobile security applications.
