United Security Services, Inc. is seeking qualified and experienced security professionals to join our team for a Trade Show at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ, from April 6th – April 9th, 2025. We are also looking for Security Supervisors to help oversee event coverage.
The Trade Show will require security officers and supervisors to be mobile and on their feet for extended periods of time while patrolling the event areas and ensuring the safety and security of all guests and attendees. Applicants must be comfortable with this physical aspect of the job and able to remain alert and active throughout their shifts. This role demands a proactive approach to security, with the ability to adapt to the dynamic environment of a large-scale event.
Immediate Hire! This is a temporary position, but with potential for future opportunities.
Position Requirements:
SORA License required
High School Diploma or GED
Flexible availability during event dates
Minimum of 1 year of verifiable security experience
Prior Event/Trade Show security experience preferred but not required
Must be able to stand, patrol, and work outdoors as needed
Must be able to pass a drug screening
Must be willing and able to travel to the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests and attendees
Follow access control procedures as directed
Patrol event areas for unusual, dangerous, or illegal activity and unauthorized individuals
Maintain exceptional communication, hospitality, and interpersonal skills
Conduct security checks and follow post orders as directed
Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
Follow emergency action plans and established safety procedures
Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
