MILLENIUM SECURITY IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED/QUALIFIED APPLICANTS TO FILL UNARMED/ARMED POSITIONS.
FOR APPLICANTS TO QUALIFY FOR THE POSITION, YOU MUST HAVE CURRENT/UP-TO-DATE DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE (DCJS) CERTIFICATION.
ALL CANDIDATES WHO ARE SELECTED FOR AN INTERVIEW WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A COMPANY APPLICATION.
IF AN OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT IS EXTENDED TO AN APPLICANT THEY WILL BE REQUIRED TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK.
QUALIFICATIONS
MUST HAVE:
– Current DCJS Certification
– Current/Valid Driver’s License
– Reliable Transportation to and from work
– Fluency in both written/verbal English communication
– Must be available to work evenings/night time/overnight and weekends
PREFERRED:
– Current CPR/AED Training
– Previous Security, Law Enforcement, Military Experience
– Computer, tablet, cell phone skills to complete company logs
DUTIES
The Security Officer is the first line of defense to deter, detect, and mitigate criminal activity. Our officers will be performing some or all of the duties listed below:
– Patrols customer properties to include college campuses, hospitals, business establishments, parking areas, construction sites, private schools, and more.
– Monitors activity in and around buildings and grounds.
– Responds appropriately to routine duties and emergencies.
– Performs camera surveillance
– Completes agency logs (patrol, vehicle, etc.) and records, using cell phone/tablet or computer for documentation of daily activities.
– Conducts security investigations, evaluates situations, and takes appropriate steps for professional and timely resolution.
All security officers MUST be customer-service oriented.
Uniforms provided.
