Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
Monitor premises through regular patrols
Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.
Respond promptly to disturbances, or emergencies; assess situations and take appropriate action.
Provide first aid and CPR as necessary while maintaining a calm demeanor during stressful situations.
Document incidents accurately in reports for future reference.
Collaborate with law enforcement when required and assist in investigations related to security breaches.
Manage conflict situations effectively using conflict management techniques.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in security or law enforcement is preferred.
Proven experience in security roles or related fields is an asset.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
Military or law enforcement background is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
