Position: Security Command Center/Rover
Position Summary
A Security Officers main function is to observe and report. The officer maintains a safe and secure environment for clients and employees. They detect suspicious activity, monitor the premises, and report all incidents in a timely fashion.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for any security concerns, safety hazards, or unauthorized activity.
Perform initial investigations into security incidents and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate records of security-related incidents, reports, and actions taken.
Conduct routine inspections of security equipment and systems to ensure proper functionality.
Monitor access control systems and verify that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
Respond promptly to alarms and security alerts, taking appropriate action as needed.
Provide excellent customer service when assisting employees, visitors, and clients.
Operate and learn the client’s badging and CCTV systems as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to correspond professionally via email.
Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to workplace responsibilities.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company uniform standards.
Demonstrated integrity, ethical conduct, and sound judgment in handling security matters.
Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, including employees, visitors, and management.

Working Conditions
Physical Requirements
Must be able to report to work on time in all types of weather
Must be able to meet Face to Face Relief criteria by extending past shift off times while waiting for post relief, working over 8 hours in a shift (adhering to applicable Federal and state Overtime regulations if applicable)
Must be able to work outside for extended periods in all types of weather, including rain, snow, extreme cold and extreme heat.
Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
Able to climb multiple flights of stairs
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school diploma/GED
18 years of age
Security Guard training and/or license (or be willing to obtain)
Have the legal right to work in the United States
Driver’s License (if contractually required)
State Photo Identification
Fireguard license (if contractually required)
Medical exam (if contractually required)
Verifiable Security Experience (between 1 year to 3 years, depending on contract)
Previous employment verification
