Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary duties will include monitoring surveillance equipment, conducting patrols, and responding to security incidents.
Duties:
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the security of the property
– Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance and take appropriate action
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
– Enforce access control procedures to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises
– Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to resolve security issues
– Perform first aid or CPR in emergency situations until medical professionals arrive
– Utilize conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations
Experience:
– Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred
– Knowledge of addiction and recovery
– Familiarity with working with marginalized populations
– Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
– Strong observation skills and attention to detail
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills:
– First aid and CPR certification
– Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and practices
– Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations with professionalism
– Strong problem-solving skills
