As a member of the Sheepdog Public Safety team, the Unarmed Security Guard plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients in Charlotte, NC. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $14 to $14.50 per hour.
**Job Overview:**
The Unarmed Security Guard is responsible for the overnight site security of a recreational facility, performing both stationary and roaming duties. This role requires a vigilant and proactive approach to maintaining a safe environment for all patrons and staff.
**Responsibilities:**
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies
Escort employees or visitors as needed
Report any security breaches or safety hazards to management
Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities
**Requirements:**
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in security or related field preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
Must be able to work overnight shifts and weekends
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
