Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, with a focus on surveillance, loss prevention, and conflict management. The Security Officer will be dressed professionally and will be responsible for ensuring a peaceful environment along with detecting any theft.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations.
Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the facility.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or activities.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary during investigations or emergencies.
Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and visitors.
Participate in conflict management strategies to de-escalate tense situations.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in security or law enforcement preferred.
Be available to start employment as soon as possible. The weekly schedule will be Monday to Saturday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or loss prevention is highly desirable.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
