Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our team, the Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our property, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security with a focus on conflict management and security.
Duties:
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both interior and exterior, to ensure that all areas are secure and free of potential threats.
– Respond promptly to all alarms and security incidents, providing immediate assistance and support to ensure the safety of everyone on site.
-Report any suspicious behavior or incident to the local authorities.
-Write detailed reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
– Maintain a high level of situational awareness at all times.
– Use conflict management skills to handle any disputes or confrontations that may arise on site.
– Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, visitors, and the local community to ensure that security protocols are understood and respected.
– Conduct regular training and drills to ensure that security protocols are effective and up-to-date.
Experience Preferred but not required:
– A minimum of 1 years of experience in a security, military, or law enforcement role.
– Proven ability to manage conflicts and maintain a safe and secure environment.
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with staff and visitors.
Skills Preferred:
– Valid LA Guard License
