Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer with NATION, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety of employees, customers, and property at various sites, including retail stores, construction zones, and other commercial locations. Key duties include:
Patrolling premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism
Monitoring surveillance equipment and access points for suspicious activity
Inspecting buildings, equipment, and surrounding areas to ensure security protocols are met
Responding to alarms and obtaining assistance when needed
Addressing and reporting irregularities, policy violations, and trespassers
Maintaining a safe environment by adjusting building controls and monitoring equipment
Qualifications:
Valid Florida Class D Security License
Valid Florida Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Professional demeanor and appearance
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with the public
Must speak English fluently
Must have a smartphone for communication and reporting
Clean background check with no felony convictions
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in security roles at retail stores, gas stations, construction sites, or commercial properties
