Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of premises.
Operate and monitor CCTV systems and surveillance equipment.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing assistance as necessary.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately in reports.
Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect property.
Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
Patrols assigned site on foot; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Class D License Required; will consider Blue Card
Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and monitoring techniques.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to pass background checks and drug testing as required by company policy.
A military background is an advantage but not mandatory.
Job Description:
Charlie Shift: Monday to Friday.
Must be available for an in-person interview and zoom.
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience: Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
Security: 1 year, at least (Required)
Language: English (Required)
License/Certification:
Security D license (Required)
