Job Description
As the lead, you’ll play a key role in protecting our patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring that safety protocols are followed and the hospital remains a secure environment. You’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact by training, mentoring, and managing security personnel while coordinating responses to emergencies and security incidents. If you’re ready to take charge and lead a team in providing a safe, supportive space for healing, this is the role for you!
Minimum Training & Experience: Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written. Knowledge of hospital safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and security systems. Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and calmness. Ability to engage in physical confrontations with suspected offenders and handle situations as they arise. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and patrol the hospital premises. Previous leadership in safety and security is preferred.
Additional Job Description
Education: A high school diploma or GED is a requirement
Certification/License: This position requires a current and valid driver’s license and minimal computer literacy.
