Unarmed Security Guard – Inside Guard Jobs in Pueblo, CO at Inner Parish Security Corporation
This full time / part time security guard job requires a Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) course or “Guard Card Class” to be completed and the individual to have a current CA guard card.
Security Guard / Officers protect the staff and assets of our cafés by keeping watch over the property for any threats. They perform regular security checks on buildings and can be found at entrance points, so no minors successfully enter the premises. This is a strict company policy that ensures that young adults of the recommended age (18+) are responsibly enjoying our cafés and all we have to offer.
Responsibilities will include;
Patrol in and around the premises regularly to maintain safety
Monitor and ID people as they enter the business 18+ age limit
Ensuring no weapons are brought inside the property
Communicate and remove any person violating ROH policies
Investigate people for suspicious activity or contraband
Monitoring the interior / exterior property for alcoholic beverages and illegal substances which are prohibited
Collecting photos and names of people with contraband
Enforcing existing bans; to people who have violated our policies
Ensuring there is no vaping or smoking within 20’ of the entrance
Enforcing no loitering around the entrance or in the hallway
Secure and verify all exits, doors, and windows are locked after end of operations
Filling out incident report forms
Aiding kava tenders in closing duties
The shifts for this role are:
6:30pm – 1:30am Sunday – Saturday
