Unarmed Security Officer – 1099 Contractor
Pay: $15.09/hour
Shift Differential: +$1.50 for weekends (Sat & Sun) and overnight hours (Mon-Fri, 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM)
Employment Type: 1099 Contractor
Uniform Deposit: $241 (deducted over 4 pay periods, refundable upon return of items in favorable condition)
Travel Stipend: Available for contractors traveling more than 30 miles to work
Holiday Pay: 1.5x hourly rate for working on company designated holidays

Are you looking for a security role where you can make a difference? We’re hiring Unarmed Security Officers to help protect and serve our clients. This position is perfect for individuals who are vigilant, reliable, and ready to take on a physically active role in various environments. ️
Schedule:
Wednesday – Sunday
10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
️ Please note: Hours and site location may vary based on company and client needs. Flexibility is key!
What You’ll Do:
Patrol & Surveillance: Conduct frequent foot patrols — up to 90% of your shift — across large areas, both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions. Your presence helps prevent security breaches and ensures site safety.
Incident Response: React quickly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies. Provide assistance, de-escalate situations, and collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
Report Writing: Document everything — from routine patrols to critical incidents — in clear, detailed reports. Accuracy is key to maintaining site security and client trust.
Customer Service: Be a friendly, professional point of contact for clients, employees, and visitors. Offer assistance, answer questions, and maintain a visible security presence.
Safety Compliance: Enforce site-specific rules and safety protocols. Conduct equipment checks and report any safety concerns.
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Experience: Previous security or related experience preferred.
✔️ Physical Endurance: Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods (up to 90% of the shift).
✔️ Weather Readiness: Willingness to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.
✔️ Strength: Capable of lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.
✔️ Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and professional interactions.
✔️ Licensing & Certification: Must hold a valid security license or certification, as required by state regulations.
✔️ Footwear: Must provide your own work-appropriate footwear.

Uniform Details:
Your uniform package includes pants, 2 shirts, a jacket, duty belt, hat, and beanie. A $241 deposit will be deducted over 4 pay periods and refunded upon return of all items in good condition within 72 hours of contract end. Replacement for normal wear and tear is on us — but lost or damaged items will incur a non-refundable deduction.
