Blue Chip Services, LLC is looking for experienced Level II (unarmed) Security Officers to work in the North Austin area. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and a proven track record of maintaining safety and security in a variety of settings.
Overnight Shifts ONLY: 6 PM – 8 AM
Responsibilities include:
Patrolling: Regularly walking around the apartment complex grounds, including parking lots, entrances, and common areas, to check for suspicious activity and security breaches.
Access control: Verifying resident and visitor identification at entrances, ensuring only authorized individuals gain access to the building.
CCTV monitoring: Actively observing surveillance cameras to monitor activity and identify potential issues.
Incident reporting: Documenting any suspicious activity, disturbances, or security breaches and reporting them to the appropriate authorities. Maintaining detailed logs of security activities, including observations and incidents.
Emergency response: Responding promptly to emergencies like fires, medical situations, or security breaches, contacting necessary services when needed.
Conflict resolution: Attempting to de-escalate minor conflicts or disputes between residents.
Maintaining a visible presence: Being actively present on the property to deter potential criminal activity.
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Must have a valid Unarmed Security License
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
