Qualifications:
Must have prior work experience as Armed Security Guard
Must have own vehicle.
Must have a Carry Permit (Mandatory)
At least 25 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
Possession of a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residency
Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
Job Summary:
Armed Security Officers will be responsible for security and control of the assigned areas and the enforcement of the Client’s regulations. Work is performed with some independence in accordance with established policies and procedures, supplemented by periodic instructions and meetings. The employee will perform routine work for the Client. Work is performed during various shifts and locations, as required. Supervision is received from the Supervisory Commander assigned.
General Armed Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensure a safe and secure environment
Observe, survey, and report activities
Respond quickly to critical situations
Monitor and patrol premises as directed
Direct clientele to the intended destination
Assess and act upon threats or deviant behavior accordingly
Ability to communicate and work well with staff and team members
Prepare incident logs and daily reports as required
Other duties as assigned
