Job Skills / Requirements
Monitor entrances and exits to buildings, protect employees and facilities, respond to company alarms, and provide general surveillance. Patrol areas on foot. Answer calls for service.
Common Duties
Writing daily activity reports
Answering phone calls
Greeting employees, guests, and vendors
Contacting the fire department or law enforcement during certain circumstances, such as criminal violations, fire, and trespassing
Escorting personnel to and from the facility
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certification Requirements
Ohio Security Guard License
