Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to handle conflicts effectively, and a commitment to loss prevention. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our premises through proactive surveillance and response strategies.
Duties
Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized activity.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, and equipment to ensure safety protocols are followed.
Utilize CCTV and surveillance systems to monitor activities within the facility.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
Document incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences accurately in reports for further review.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Qualifications
Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies is highly desirable.
Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
