Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of duty and professionalism, ensuring the safety and security of our clients, properties, and personnel. This role requires an individual who is proactive in identifying potential threats and is skilled in conflict management and surveillance techniques.
What: Security Officer- Rotating Schedule Sunday to Saturday
Shift hours:6pm to 6am
Duties
Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Monitor CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment to ensure the safety of premises.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a visible presence to deter criminal activity.
Conduct thorough investigations of incidents, documenting findings accurately for reporting purposes.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during emergencies or investigations.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.
Qualifications
Must possess a valid security license or certificate as required by state regulations.
Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
Strong knowledge of surveillance systems including CCTV operations.
Proven skills in conflict management and de-escalation techniques.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
