Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of premises.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Provide assistance in conflict management and resolution as needed.
Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary for incident reporting or investigations.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for future reference.
Participate in training sessions related to loss prevention, first aid, CPR, and emergency response protocols.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in security or law enforcement are preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
Experience in loss prevention or security roles is an advantage.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment including CCTV systems is beneficial.
A background in military service or law enforcement is a plus but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
