We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and conflict management, as well as the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment through monitoring activities, enforcing rules, and providing assistance when necessary.
Responsibilities
Guard shack
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and facilities to ensure safety compliance.
Utilize CCTV systems for surveillance and documentation of incidents.
Provide first aid and CPR as needed during emergencies.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or emergencies.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Enforce facility rules and regulations while managing conflicts professionally.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or safety hazards.
Skills
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Proficient in the use of CCTV systems for surveillance purposes.
Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively.
Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions.
Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and the public.
