We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Unarmed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a current valid guard card and be committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets.
Responsibilities:
Security Presence: Maintain a visible and vigilant presence to deter and detect unauthorized activities, promoting a safe and secure environment.
Access Control: Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises.
Observation and Reporting: Conduct regular patrols, paying close attention to details and promptly reporting any suspicious activities or safety concerns.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, responding to inquiries, and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Emergency Response: Act calmly and efficiently during emergency situations, following established protocols and assisting in the evacuation of individuals if necessary.
Collaboration: Work closely with other security personnel, law enforcement, and client representatives to share information and coordinate efforts.
Documentation: Complete accurate and detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
Equipment Check: Ensure the proper care and maintenance of security equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
Current and valid guard card.
Prior experience in security, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick, effective decisions.
Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
Excellent attention to detail and observation skills.
Reliable and punctual.
