As an Unarmed Security Officer with Precision Security Team, you will assist with all security-related concerns and other requests as needed to ensure a safe environment for the public at your assigned site. Every Security Officer at Precision Security Team owns the client’s experience and their bottom line. It is of the utmost importance to uphold Precision Security Team’s professional image to the client, the public, and law enforcement at all times. It is imperative that you practice and demonstrate Precision Security Team’s core values and code of conduct everyday.
Your hours would be 8:00 am-5:00 pm for a total of 45 hours per week. Please do not apply if this does not work with your availability.
The ideal candidate for this position would be exceptional at de-escalation, interacting with at-risk populations, and talking to individuals with empathy and compassion, yet a commanding presence.
Duties and Responsibilities: The following are duties you may perform at your site. Duties include but are not limited to:
interacting with clients, patrons, guests, partners, coworkers, and the public
maintaining situational awareness at all times
conducting foot patrols
denying access to unauthorized personnel
securing your site and preventing vandalism and theft
screening and conducting metal detector wanding and bag checks to ensure no contraband is being brought to the site
assisting with emergencies and building evacuations
utilizing reporting systems and contacting appropriate parties for site situations
utilizing closed-circuit camera systems and review footage to maintain awareness of the site and its property
maintaining confidentiality of all activities within your site
utilizing verbal judo to de-escalate situations
utilizing minimal use of force unless the individual poses an imminent physical danger to themselves, someone else, or you
maintaining a professional and conservative demeanor at all times
following SOPs at assigned site
following, communicating, and enforcing local laws and regulations
Precision Security Team or the client can assign other duties to you as necessary at any time.

Pay: This site pays $20.00/
This is a W2 position. Employees working 30 or more hours a week are eligible for health benefits.
Colorado is an at-will employment state.
